What is it?
These are techniques used in the Information Technology area which aim to make software delivery simple, fast, frequent and with quality. The name comes from the combination of Development (Dev) and Operations (Ops).
Why use it?
In the IT environment, it is not uncommon to find organizations making monthly (or even less frequent) releases. However, in complex environments, user feedback should be collected as quickly as possible. In their extreme, DevOps techniques allow multiple releases per day, with transparency to the user.
How to use it?
The use of DevOps depends on each organization and on the use of specific frameworks in the IT environment.
